Broward VPK, Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten Education Program
VPK is a 3 Hour program that is funded by the Florida Department of Education. The purpose of VPK is to prepare children for Kindergarten, not only academically, but also socially, emotionally, and physically. The VPK program follows the Broward County school year calendar, on Broward County no-school days, VPK parents who wish to leave their child in the care of Davie Christian Academy will need to pay the No School VPK fee.
To be considered for Broward VPK, families must be approved by The Florida Department of Children and Families. We have two scheduled Broward VPK programs. VPK A is from 8am to 11am and VPK B is scheduled from 11:30am to 2:30pm. Parents of VPK students are not charged registration and tuition fees unless their child stays before or after their VPK class hours.
